Scholarships for students with disabilities

                                                   1st scheme: (Trust Fund) 



                      Under this scheme, 1000 Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students with disabilities for degree and post graduate level professional and technical courses from recognized institutions in India.

 30% scholarships will be reserved for girls, which will be transferable to male students in case of nonavailability
of female candidates.

 Applicants may apply any time in academic year for scholarship under this scheme. Scholarships will be awarded on quarterly basis for the applications received in preceding quarter. Under this scheme, an advance copy of application should also be submitted online www.nhfdc.nic.in by the candidate.


How to apply :- The applicant has to apply online www.nhfdc.nic.in and the printed application form along with requisite documents duly countersigned and recommended by the head of the institution, where they are studying, should reach to:

                                            Under this scheme, 500 National Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students with disabilities for
pursuing higher academic/professional or technical qualification.

 Applicant has to apply online www.nhfdc.nic.in for scholarship from 01.07.2013 to 31.08.2013 and scholarship shall be awarded once in a academic year under this scheme. Applicant has to submit hard copy of the application duly recommended by the head of the institution.

S/he will enthuse and motivate scientists of the Centre; promote creativity and excellence and create an atmosphere conducive to harmonious functioning of the Centre.  S/he will interact and establish rapport with national and international, academic and professional institutions and specialists dealing with nano and soft matter sciences and will ensure multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional cooperation towards fulfilment of the objectives of the Centre.

(b) The Director shall steer the Centre to become an internationally recognized Centre of excellence in nano and soft matter science.
